If my criminal case was dismissed after completing Pre-Trial Intervention (PTI), do I still need an expungement?

A dismissal of a case after successful completion of PTI does not result in the sealing or expungement of your record. Your arrest will still be available to be revealed, as well as the fact that you were admitted to PTI and under what conditions. You may not want these records to be discoverable by the public. In order to avoid this, you will need to file an expungement.

To obtain an expungement after competing PTI you must wait 6 months after you completely finished your PTI diversion and paid all of your fines.
